Dr. Choukroun has spent the last several decades dedicating himself to the study of Platelet Rich Fibrin. His discoveries have led to new protocols which optimize the quality of PRF, both in its liquid (I-PRF®, S-PRF®) and solid state (A-PRF®). Countless independent studies evaluating the effectiveness of the PRF generated by the Duo Quattro have been published, some of which can be found in our clinical. These protocols are pre-programmed on the centrifuge, making the production of PRF easy and predictable. The Horizontal Centrifugation Myth. The trend of horizontal centrifugation can be attributed to a lack of knowledge of how rpm and rotor angles affect the g-forces that the tubes are subjected to. The DUO Quattro centrifuge is designed with 6 easy to use pre-programmed settings. These settings allow you to select the appropriate spin protocol depending on the needs of your patient. A 7th setting is also provided which allows clinicians to alter spin speeds and cycle time. The design of the DUO Quatto limits vibration which decreases fibrin decay.
